It was the first idea anyone came up with and there were some objections - mostly about it being too self-deprecating and not 'Kiwi' enough...

We went through a few more ideas, but nothing that was clearly and unanimously better, so we ended up sticking with "The Cusp".

I still think it's good... :-P

I agree CUSP is fine and can mean..
"a point between two different situations or states, when a person or thing is poised between the two or just about to move from one to the other"
Very appropriate...

Good work getting a Podcast up and running! Can't believe I've found it only now. Gotta work on getting more exposure!
