I have a degree majoring in English and French with Science as an interest. I have been skeptical for many years, joining the meet-up group for skeptics in the pub last year. I am now part of The Cusp podcast. I work as a personal trainer.

I received an iPod for my birthday in 2009, and discovered the skeptical world through podcasts, the rest is history. I accept evolution and what science discovers, and am about to go and get my teaching diploma so that i can get the next generation excited about studying and discovering more of the natural world around us.

When not ranting about pseudoscience on the CUSP, Siouxsie Wiles is a microbiologist and bioluminescence enthusiast who heads the Bioluminescent Superbugs Group at the University of Auckland. Magician, Amateur - I do magic as a hobby. Mostly collecting and performing at Club Nights. I even do the occasional magic show (mostly for friends and family).
I've been a skeptic since 2005/2006. I'm on the commitee for the NZ Skeptics and I organised the 2008 and 2010 annual conferences (with a little bit of help from time-to-time).
